This weekend started off with the B family who invited me to their home to capture their little man. It was so fun because his birthday is just one week after our baby! When I first got there he was having some fussy moments (as to be expected for a baby of four months who wasn’t feeling well!) but it was amazing how my heart ached hearing that little guy cry. And each little movement was so familiar to me, as a mom of a baby of the same age – hands in the mouth, babbling, lifting the head and chest off the ground, etc. So . . . I tried to capture these little things that sort of mark this time in his life. Take a look:
And then today, I got to meet up with a high school friend and her fiance for some engagement pics. Now, you have to understand, she and I grew up in a TEENY town in central Illinois. After high school, we went our separate ways . . . her to Iraq with the US Army and me to Indiana and then China with my husband. We recently reconnected via Facebook and discovered we now live only an hour a part and she is getting married in Austin in a few months! So . . . here we are taking engagement photos in Texas. What a small world! These two were such fun and clearly so in love. Congrats you two!
AND, speaking of Facebook, Twelve Stones now has a Facebook page!! Visit us HERE and become a fan! 🙂
