Alright . . . I recently found the most AMAZING website – twelvestonesphotography.commixbook.com.  All you moms probably already know about it, but if that’s the case, just humor me for now.  I think I’m in love.  Seriously.  This is your typical drag and drop book-making website; HOWEVER, it gives you way more flexibility in designing your book than say the books you get from Snapfish or Shutterfly.  You can use one of their predesigned 20-page templates, or you can use one of their themes and then customize each page yourself. Or you can do a combination, where you start with their template, then move, add, and delete items as you want!  Each page looks almost 3D – with tons of backgrounds and “stickers” to choose from, in addition to other elements that you would use in digital scrapbooking.  I’m wanting to put together an album for our son’s first year and well quite frankly I don’t have time to design one from scratch in Photoshop.  I can’t wait to try Mixbook.

Some of you might be wondering, is Mixbook paying you to write this blog?  Absolutely not.  Should they?  Probably. 🙂  I haven’t actually printed anything there yet, so I don’t know for sure about the quality, but for the cost of the book, I’m hoping the quality matches.  This is going to save me tons of time and the books are just so CUTE!  Just thought you might be able to benefit from them, too!
