The other day I happened to see something that was pure genius… but I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I saw it online.  I looked and looked with no luck, so I decided that I would just make one myself!  It’s a desktop background that serves as an organizer.  I have created spaces for my desktop folders to stay in . . .  you know, like their home. 🙂  I also have a spot for a “to do” list.  I have a spot for editing stuff to go in and a sweet little picture of our kiddo.  You could make “homes” for really anything on your desktop.  These are just the ones I chose.  Plus, I use them in conjunction with the Mac Stickies program (they’re digital post-it notes) on which I make my lists.  That way the lists are editable and ongoing and I don’t have to change my background every time I scratch off or add something to my list.
