Hey all!  I’m getting ready to schedule classes for this summer … but I wanted to check on interest level.

Leave me a comment or send me an email at amy@twelvestonesphotography.com if you’re interested in either class!

  • Ana Freiborg - I have a 13 year old daughter that would love to take the Photoshop class — she is learning how to use her Nikon D60 and has taken a Digital Dark Room class at the art institute (in KC where we lived last summer)

  • admin - Hey Ana! So great to hear! Send me an email at amy@twelvestonesphotography.com and we can talk details. 🙂

  • Niki Prindle - Hi! Interested in your Photoshop Elements class. Is the one in July filled up, and what’s the date?

It would be myself and 2 friends…

    Thanks
    niki

  • admin - Hi, Niki! Email me at amy@twelvestonesphotography.com for info! My next Elements class will be July 30th.

  • MIKE SNIDER - I am interested in Adobe Photoshop Elements classes at your earliest convenience.

Thanks in advance for your prompt response.

    Mike

As many of you know, photographing weddings are not the norm for me.  Given our family situation (one busy little toddler and another on the way in November), I just simply am not willing to give up much of my weekends to work.  However, on occasion, for special circumstances, I will do them.  This one was a photographer friend who needed an assistant and I was able to jump in last minute to help.  We trekked out to Dripping Springs to a gorgeous location at Camp Lucy for a wedding that was simple yet so elegant.   I just wanted to share one pic I took that night that I was especially proud of.  These are the moments that I get to capture as the assistant photographer.  Love it!

Saturday I did two mini sessions at the Botanical Gardens and the weather was absolutely glorious!  If only it would stay that way through the summer…uggh.

It was sort of ironic that the two families I shot (sounds weird) each had two kids that were nearly the same age 3 and 3-ish months.  Such fun!  Makes me excited for when our little one comes in November and our two can be buddies. 🙂

So…summer is quickly approaching and I’m already thinking about Christmas pictures.  Why you ask???  Well, we are expecting our SECOND baby this November!!  We couldn’t be more thrilled!  Our kids will be a little over two years apart and I think they’re going to be the perfect buddies.

However, I immediately began thinking about how this would affect Christmas photos for my clients, so I knew I needed a plan and that was to go ahead and start booking all the way out through the end of the year.  If you’re planning to have Christmas photos with me this year, you’ll need to BOOK EARLY and get them done in either Sept, Oct or the first weekend in Nov prior to Baby Tripple #2’s arrival! 🙂  I’m serious when I tell you that the fall will book fast due to my limited availability and I don’t want you to miss out.

But, you’ll be thrilled to know I’m now offering two options for photo shoots – mini sessions and regular sessions.  Mini sessions will take place one Saturday a month and will be at a set location (some are still TBA).  Minis are $250 and include 10 – 15 edited images on CD with printing rights.  I’m hoping by offering this smaller package that some of you will still be able to participate.  Full sessions are $400 and include 30-40 edited images on CD with printing rights and a print credit.

To find my current availability, hover your mouse over the tab on the left side of the blog that says “reserve a session”.  A drawer will “slide” out that allows you to see dates that are currently available.  To schedule a session, send me an email for the date you’re requesting and I’ll email you an invoice for a $50 deposit to reserve your session.

Happy scheduling, friends!  And Happy Mother’s Day!  Being a mother is truly the biggest blessing.

Hey everyone!  I wanted to tell you about an opportunity coming up on May 14th for a mini-session at the Zilker Park Botanical Gardens.  I will be opening up THREE slots for roughly 45 minutes each (10:45, 11:30, and 12:15).  Sessions are $250 and include the CD with 10 – 15 full-resolution images and printing rights, PLUS  the same images sized separately for the web!  Email me right away at amy@twelvestonesphotography.com to reserve your spot.

Can’t make that day??  Very soon I’m going to be opening up booking mini sessions through the fall!  These will book FAST so be ready to book right away if you want a chance at a little less expensive option!
