Twelve Stones Photography & Design » Indianapolis Lifestyle Photography

As many of you know, our family spent the last three years in Lubbock, TX mentoring college athletes at Texas Tech.  During this time, I took a brief time off from photography and just did an occasional session for family and friends.   This summer we moved back to the midwest to be closer to family and for my husband to return to teaching.    What a whirlwind this summer has been!  We moved across the country, started a new job, had a our fourth baby three weeks early (who spent ten days in the NICU), bought a house, and the list goes on!  But, the dust is finally settling, and I’m anxious to launch my photography business here in Indy!

One of the things I missed most about living in Texas was fall.  As the trees are changing to brilliant shades of oranges and reds here, I’m literally giddy to be able to experience it again!  Last night I met up with a family getting their first family pictures together, and I was reminded just how much I love this.  Take a peek:

So far we’ve had such a great experience here in Lubbock!  Having both grown up in small towns in the midwest, Lubbock feels a lot like home.

As I mentioned before, I’m not doing a whole lot of photography here with our new jobs but just a few sessions here and there ’cause I love it and can’t stay away! 🙂  Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Yes, you read that correctly.  LUBBOCK child and family photographer.  We have officially moved from Austin to Lubbock!  For most of you, this isn’t a surprise.  I’ve been talking about this with clients for a good while now.  But, in case you’ve stumbled upon my blog looking for a DSLR class or a photo session in Austin, I’m am no longer offering those two things in the area.

So, where have I been for the last 9 months … well, after my maternity leave last November, things got MUCH busier than I anticipated with two kiddos!  I’ve been doing photo sessions here and there but many families didn’t get blogged in recent months (see below for a catch up).  On top of being mom, my husband and I have also been working full-time to raise financial support for our new jobs here in Lubbock at Texas Tech!  Want to know more?  Visit www.TrippleFamily.com to find out what we’re up to!

That being said, I’ll be offering photo sessions here in Lubbock from time to time, but primarily focusing on raising our boys and ministering to college students.

Take a look at a few of the sessions from 2012:
